PRASA Train Simulator
Brief
The project called for the adaptive reuse of a former railway transformer building to be re-invented as a leading train simulator hub. The contrast between this buildings original use and its new life became the focus for its redesign, notably the redesign of its skin; a transparent shell of glass and aluminium lightly touching the rough-cast, concrete skeleton of this once fully-enclosed, utilitarian service building.
